- Log in using your FIU MyAccounts username and password.
- If you are a student employee, use your employee login information, not your student information. Speak with your supervisor if you’re not sure what your employee login is.
- If you are an official FIU volunteer and do not have login credentials, please contact ehstrain@fiu.edu.
- Once you have logged in, find the course through the search feature, or scroll down the list of courses.
- Click on the name of the course.
- On the next page, enroll in the course.
- After enrolling, complete all course sections, including accessing materials and completing quizzes.
- Upon completion, click on the certificate section and save your certificates to your computer or your FIU Onedrive. Print your certificate if you work in a laboratoy and it is required to have a physical copy available on site.
If you require any assistance with the online training program, please do not hesitate to contact our Safety Training Program Manager at (305) 348-1421 or by email at ehstrain@fiu.edu.
Saving/Printing Completion Certificate
Once you have successfully completed all sections, including passing the quiz, you will be allowed to download and/or print your certificate.
While we encourage the reduction of paper use, there are instances where certain regulations require the need to have a printed copy availalbe. If you are working in an FIU laboratory, it is required to have a printed copy of your training certificates on site.
Click on the course certificate section.
- Prior to clicking ‘Get your certificate’, you will need to turn off your browser’s pop-up blocker, because your certificate opens in a new window.
- Download and save an electronic copy of your certificate somewhere easily accessible. Laboratory personnel must provide a copy to your lab manager/supervisor to have on file.
- If you have additional trainings to complete, go back to the home page and repeat this process.
